It was a strong day for Grafton trainers at the Lismore meeting in late July with two winners being recorded for them on the day.
Jason Reilly continued his strong season when Icon Of Style came from well back in the field to score a big win in the Maiden 1310m.
Ridden by Damien Thornton Icon Of Style looked to be well out of contention contention before Thornton came to the outside and Icon Of Style came with a long run to reach the lead in the shadows of the post.
Like many of the Reilly camp Icon Of Style joined the yard via an online sale last December with this win it is fair to say the filly has well and truly paid her way.
The next Grafton winner was courtesy of veteran trainer David Campbell when stable star Iobject scored a solid win in the BM 58 1210m.
Ridden by Braith Nock Iobject had the run the race before Nock shifted three deep on the point of the home turn. It would however take almost the length of the home straight before Iobject was able to gain the upper hand near the line.
It was the third win for the season for Iobject and the fourth for trainer Campbell who know prepares only a small team of horses.
Day one of the Coffs Harbour cup carnival provided another winner for the Dwayne Schmidt yard when Invincible Alf made it back to back wins in the 2yo 1215m.
Ridden by Ben Looker Invincible Alf stalked the leaders before sprinting quickly below the 300m to quickly put the issue beyond doubt and win with plenty in reserve.
The final Grafton winner for the season was prepared by Dan Want when No Quarantine scored a very impressive win in the BM 58 1260m at Ballina on July 27.
Ridden by Jodi Worley No Quarantine settled well back in the field before Worley took off after the 600m to build momentum and be sprinting after the leaders by the time heads were turned for home.
In the end No Quarantine found plenty in the run to the finish and bring up win number seven for Dan Want for the season.
