The Shane Everson stable is having its best run for a couple of seasons and the brilliant run of form continued at Aquis Park at the Gold Coast on Saturday.
Although being winless in seven starts last preparation a four month break has seen September Girl come back a much better horse.
Her win at Aquis Park on Saturday made it three on the bounce from as many starts this time back.
Ridden by Matt McGuren September Girl settled fifth in a quickly run 1000m BM 62 but looked to be off the bit and chasing a little coming to the turn. However once balanced in the straight September Girl found plenty in the run to the finish to win with some authority.
Everson went within inches of training the quinella with Memphis Squaw coming from back in the field to just miss out on second place.
