As the races become easier to attend we will keep you up to date with how the local trainers have been going in recent weeks.
The Andy Parramore yard has been in a rich vein of form with the stable producing three winners from its last five starters.
The current stable star is Andy ..yes named after the little maestro himself which put the picket fence together with a win at Ballina in early November followed by a another strong victory at Lismore on November 8.
Andy is now earning a short break and there is little doubt connections are eyeing off the rich Country Championships to be conducted in late summer.
The other recent winner form Team Parramore was Canexcell which was able to score a solid win at Ballina over 1000m on November 1.
Parramore is now heading to the Taree Cup meeting on Sunday with the gelding to contest the $50000 Country Magic 1250m.
