2020 is a year many will be very happy to forget I am not sure where Scott Henley sits on that issue to be honest because although 2020 had its issues it was the also the year he could return to training after an enforced layoff.
One thing I do know is 2021 will be a year he does remember especially day two of it when he prepared his fist winner at headquarters with just his second runner at the track when Boyles scored a solid win in the Highway 1400m
Boyles had been racing in great form and had already provided Scott with his first winner back earlier this preparation.
Ridden by James Innes jnr the gedling settled stalking the leaders on the fence before Innes worked his way between runners in the straight and race to the line never in danger of defeat.
It is a pity Boyles has had too many starts because in his present form he may have been right up to Country Championship Standard.
