As we continue to move to the carnival it is time to highlight the Fleur Blanch stable which had a couple of winners in the last month as we count down to July 2024.
Fleur was successful with Allberin at the Grafton meeting in mid May in the Class 1 1420m ridden by Anthony Allen Allberin came from well back in the field being a clear last on the home turn to simply round up his rivals over the concluding stages to score a very big win.
The stable was next to winner circle at the Coffs Harbour meeting on May 31 when Tsunoda scored a very impressive victory in the Maiden 1205m.
Again ridden by Anthony Allen Tsunoda was in handy position coming to the home turn but had difficulty making it to the preferred outside position on the track on that day forcing Allen back to the inside. However once in clear air Tsunoda put his opposition away with ease to like his stablemate mentioned earlier win with some authority.
Judging by the strength of these two winners both early in their preparations Camp Blanch could be heading for a pretty handy July Racing Carnival.
